Salon 256 was established in May of 2003 by Darnese Scherer. It was a goal of Darnese's to join the long list of business owners in her family. Salon 256 is not just a Salon or Day Spa, it is a place where our guests are respected and cared for. We offer many services ranging from Hair to Nails to Facials and Massages, but most importantly, Customer Appreciation!
The staff attends many educational seminars throughout the year in order to provide each and every salon guest with the utmost professionalism and service in which they deserve! Private Getaway
Invite your friends, family, or coworkers to join your for a Friday night or Sunday afternoon of relaxation. Our Private Getaway offers accommodations for 4-8 people and include the following: Manicure, Mini Pedicure, 2 Hour Massage, and a Mini Facial.

Gratuity
Leaving gratuities is at the discretion of our guests and are greatly appreciated. It is customary to extend a 20% tip to your technician for exemplary service. Gratuity envelopes are available. Gratuity will be accepted as cash or check only. We cannot add gratuity to credit card or debit transactions.
Payment
We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Mac, and Checks with proper I.D. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee. Any total bill over $300 that is being paid by personal check will require payment in the form of two separate checks or separate credit card transaction. 20% deduction on no show spa packages. New client $10 haircuts must be paid by cash only, no checks or credit cards. No cash refunds.
Returns
Retail products may be returned within 10 days after purchase for an even exchange or salon credit. If you are not satisfied with your hair/nails, please notify us within 7 days so we can accomodate you to your liking.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards are available for all services and products, are non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash, such as tip. They can be mailed at no extra charge. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. All purchases using a gift card must match the cardholders name. Discounted holiday gift cards are not valid on sales and specials. Holiday gift cards cannot be used until after the end of the gift card sale period.
We are not responsible for any damage to clothing. Smocks are available for your protection.
